Paint Up! in 2011 again 2011. may 02.
Due to last year's huge success this year we also advertised the world's first and unique virtual architectural projection competition. For the Visualpower's Paint up! 2011 competition we accept the entries until the 14th of June.
The "Become a virtual buildingpainter!" competition were created for the animator's and moving picture makers but can be registrated by anyone, who would like to try the genre of the architectural projection wich is not well known yet in our country.
Fitting to the Roosevelt square's hall of the Hungarian academy of sciences's middle facade, the 3 minute long, music dub composed entries are to send until the 14th of June 2011, in the correct form which is described on the homepage of the competition.
For the competitiors, whose animation are selected by the jury (formed by famous figures of our country?s visual culture) to the 26th of June 2011 finals, are going to have a rare experience, their work will be projected in a size nearly 1000 sm to the HAoS's facade.
According to the last year, our professional partner will be, and also a member of the jury, worldfamous by his architectural projection Zsolt László Bordos (Bordos. ArtWorks) whose name is connected amongst others, making a huge 3D animation for the official projection of the openning event of the palm-island of Dubai.
With the Paint Up! We wish to make an opportunity for the makers whom are curious about the virtual buildingpainting to try this genre in practise and introduce themselves, showing a creative, artistic plot in front of an audiance, popularizing this new and fascinating genre of art in our country
Due to the facts that last years finals was the most visited programme of the Night of the Museums. We also hope that many thousands will be coming this year.
